G.U.D. Hosts MIWA

We recently hosted over 56 Motor Industry Workshop Association members at our automotive product training in KZN. The product training covered basic filtration, brake pad fitment and trouble shooting, engine oils and lubricants to further enhance their knowledge of parts that they fit every day.

“The MIWA members that attended our training evening are already familiar with our filters, brake pads and engine oil products. What we aimed to achieve with the product training was to go beyond just the fitment of the part and focus on its individual role within a motor vehicle. “explains Warren Botha, KZN Regional Sales Manager, G.U.D. Holdings.  “We felt that it was important to educate MIWA members and bring to their attention the dangers of using substandard poor quality parts and its harmful effects on a vehicles engine.” He added.

An example of  this was highlighted during the basic filtration training where MIWA members had the opportunity to view a cut opened filter and saw the various components of a filter and it how affects filtration capability. Similar demonstrations were also conducted on brake pads and lubricants.

“The training evening was a big success and I am very happy about the great turnout we received from members. The event was not only informative but provided an interactive platform for our members to engage directly with G.U.D., as a parts manufacturer, to address any queries. Thank you G.U.D. for being a fantastic host!” says Dhaya Naidoo, MIWA Chairman. The MIWA members were also issued certificates upon the successful completion of their training.
For over 65 years G.U.D. Filters have been keeping engines running optimally, ensuring great engine performance and protection.
