GUD Filters Helps the Quarter Bunnies Put Foot GUD supported local KZN students with a product sponsorship for their 1983 Mercedes as they embark on the Put Foot Rally Charity adventure. The five young graduates who call themselves the Quarter Bunnies have teamed up to participate in the popular event are set for a 17 day adventure.
Proudly named “Frau” a bronze automatic 1983 Mercedes will take our keen adventurers to 6 countries, over 7000kms starting in South Africa followed by Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Swaziland and Mozambique.
The Put Foot Rally encourages all participants to give back to Africa by raising funds and awareness for the chosen charities and causes. Building upon the Bobs for Good Foundation started by Bob Skinstad, former Springbok rugby player, their aim for this year is to raise funds for a minimum of 600 brand new pairs of school shoes for young underprivileged children.
The Put Foot Rally also has an official cause for 2012, Project Rhino which comprises of 15 organisations to combat rhino poaching in Southern Africa. The goal is to sponsor one fully equipped anti-poaching rhino team through the efforts and awareness of the Put Foot participants.
GUD are proud to help the Quarter Bunnies achieve this great endeavour! We wish them a safe journey through their travels!
